Our beaches are the bridge between our world and the ocean. Summer weather attracts thousands of visitors to beaches in Karachi and sometimes visitors bring waste. Beaches are fragile environments. We must be attentive in how we treat these stretches of land.
Karachi's beaches are notoriously littered with trash. A serious beach cleaning excercise needs to take place. We are looking for donations from concerned individuals to help us clean this trash and make the beaches clean again. If you help us get funding for this, we will clean it all up.
What we will also do, is with your funding we will invite school children for clean up drives for free, so that they get a sense of how important the environment is and what efforts are needed to keep it clean, so it can be used again. This will also give a sense of accomplishment to the children.
